Our guidesMountain biking in Africa requires guides who really know the bush, and a crew who are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Adventure Sport & Leisure is very much this kind of company and we are still small enough to name names and introduce the main players to you. |

This is not just biking; it’s a biking safari. Over the past few years Dave has pioneered all the routes used by Adventure Sport and he bears the overall responsibility for each trip running smoothly. |

ElliAs assistant cycling guide, Elli wears a number of hats – chief repairman, compass for the directionally challenged, morale booster, and all around nice guy. He is from the Waarusha tribe, an offshoot of the Maasai. He speaks his own tribal language plus Kiswahili and English. His infectious enthusiasm and 'hakuna matata' (no worries) attitude, is reassuring when there’s a puncture to repair or an extra mile to go. Elli is happy to meander along enjoying the ride, or to challenge you and see what you are made of. |

JosephJoseph is our trusted driver. He knows the routes and logistics like the back of his hand. He is able to get the truck into, and just as importantly out of, the most isolated, and impenetrable areas. He is constantly in reach by some form of communication, either mobile phone, or radio. Many a tired cyclist has praised his skilful driving as he maneuvers the truck through the acacia bush, patiently following the group but keeping well out of the way. |
